The temple provides a regular chanting service on every Saturday from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon, followed by the Dharma talk given by Reverend. On top of this, we do hold Sunday classes for Chinese School for Children from 4 to 12 years old; Understanding Chinese Medicine class; Children Development class as well as invited by the local Primary & Secondary Schools to teach Buddhism to the students. |

2. Eastern 1 Branch & Eastern 2 Branch. The functions of 2 Branches are looking after the interest & welfare of the members by organizing regular outdoor activities as well as involving in community & social events such as Tree planting, Clean Up Australia, Refugee Week, Career Week & communities affairs such as partake in Art & Craft , Bead Making & Tai Chi Demonstration in various organizations. The purposes & main role of the Branch is to support Bliav for all their major outdoor activities such as Chinese New Year celebration, Australian Day Parade, Moomba Festival especially The Buddha’s Day Multicultural Festival. |
| 3. Youth 3 Group. YAD3’s purposes were to provide opportunity for the youth to involve in all faces of the temple function as well as to get involve with local & international community affairs too. |

| The purposes for setting up the temple
in the Business Central District is to provide a convenient place for the
local & surrounding districts to learn about Buddhism which based on
the principle & aims of the founder of Fo Guang Shan, Master
Venerable Hsing Yun to propagate ‘Humanistic Buddhism’. |
